The world is still redolent with magic, and it's up to Flynn Carsen's (Noah Wyle) team of geniuses to make sure that power doesn't fall into the wrong hands. Set for a 10-episode sophomore run, according to TV Line, the Dean Devlin series will continue snatch up history's most dangerous artifacts in 2015.

"Could not be any more happy/excited/proud/thrilled/over the moon to be able to make a Season 2 for all of #TheLibrarians fans! Hooray!" actress Lindy Booth (Cassandra) tweeted on Thursday.

The Librarians is the TV series offshoot of TNT's The Librarian movies and stars Booth, Rebecca Romjin (Eve), Christian Kane (Jake Stone), John Kim (Ezekiel), and John Larroquette (Jenkins) with frequent appearances by Wyle.

Wyle appeared in a significant chunk of season 1, and season 2 could hold even more screen time for the original Librarian. Falling Skies completed filming for it's final season at the end of January, but Wyle's schedule appears to be crowed once more thanks to his upcoming role as George Pickett in To Appomattox.
