Believe it or not, Netflix has other high-quality original TV shows aside from House of Cards and Orange Is the New Black that may not be as well known.

Amazon Pilots: Watch First Episodes Of 'Man in the High Castle,' 'Point Of Honor,' 'Mad Dogs' & More

While critical and commercial buzz has mostly focused on House of Cards and Orange Is the New Black, many other Netflix shows are waiting to be consumed and loved. Here are some options for Netflix users who want to watch shows they can't get anywhere else.

Lilyhammer

Netflix Movies & Shows Premiering In February

Before House of Cards and Orange Is the New Black there was Lilyhammer. Many falsely believe that House of Cards was the first Netflix original series but Lilyhammer has it beat. Having debuted in 2012, there are three seasons available to stream right now. The series stars Steven Van Sandt (The Sopranos), a New York gangster starting a new life in Lillehammer, Norway. There has not been an announcement made about a fourth season but each season has eight episodes that can be easily breezed through.

Marco Polo

The newest drama series to be added to Netflix, Marco Polo should help satisfy those waiting for Game of Thrones to start back up again. Set in medieval times, the series centers on the titular Marco Polo and his early years in Kublai Khan. Lorenzo Richelmy stars as the title character. The first season is 10 episodes long.

BoJack Horseman

Netflix users looking for something a little more offbeat should take a peak at BoJack Horseman. This animated comedy series stars Will Arnett as BoJack Horseman, an anthropomorphic horse living in Hollywood who used to be a big star in the '90s but is now washed up and immersed in the vapid Los Angeles culture. With equal parts comedy and tragedy, there are very few shows similar to this one.

Other shows Netflix users can check out include the horror-themed Hemlock Grove and children's programming like The Adventures of Puss in Boots, All Hail King Julien, Turbo FAST and VeggieTales in the House.
