Keith Urban prefers to bring his wife and daughters on tour with him, but it looks like Nicole Kidman's schedule just won't allow it this season.

The married stars are currently in Los Angeles for the Academy Awards, where Kidman will serve as a presenter on Sunday. After that, however, the pair might be forced to part ways.

According to the Daily Mail on Tuesday, Kidman recently began filming in Los Angeles her upcoming thriller, The Secret In Their Eyes.

Kidman will star alongside 12 Years a Slave star Chiwetel Ejiofor in the flick, which will follow a former MI-5 agent determined to find the man who killed a friend's daughter. It is uncertain at this time how long Kidman will be in Los Angeles for the film.

Urban, on the other hand, has a little bit longer with Fox's American Idol before he kicks off his 2015 tour. The singer's official tour schedule lists the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival as his first stop on April 24. From there the country artist will perform in New York, Florida, Wyoming, Colorado and Ohio.

Depending on Kidman's production schedule, she may be forced to watch her husband head off without her for the first few weeks of the tour.

When they aren't busy working Urban and Kidman live in Nashville with their two daughters, six-year-old Sunday Rose and four-year-old Faith Margaret. The girls are accustomed to traveling with their father for shows, though their mom might opt to keep them with her in Los Angeles over the next few weeks instead.
