Orange Is the New Black star Taylor Schilling recently revealed why she is so hesitant to give out spoilers for future episodes of the series.

While Netflix's Orange Is the New Black began in 2013, Schilling (who plays Piper on the series) does not like to reveal too much about any aspect of the series.

The actress appeared at a Netflix press panel where she said that she did not feel it was appropriate to discuss the show's plot when some people have not even begun it.

"I don't really ever feel like there's an appropriate time to start talking about things because I so respect the experience that people have with these shows and I feel like it's a very intimate experience and it's one that is personal," Schilling explained. "I love the idea that people are just starting to get to know the world that we've created. Some people haven't even started season one, so I think it's sort of hands off and it's a beautiful way to be part of a process...It's lovely. It sort of just grows and floats on its own."

The cast and crew of Orange Is the New Black have been very tight-lipped over the years about revealing any spoilers. For season 3, some cast members have said that this will be the best one yet while series creator Jenji Kohan has only revealed that this season will be "about faith."

OITNB fans will simply have to tune in to see what's ahead for Piper and the gang, without any preconceived notions about what to expect.

Orange Is the New Black season 3 is slated to be released on Netflix on Friday, June 12. All 13 episodes are expected to be released at once.
