A new clip of actress Lea DeLaria talking about Netflix's Orange Is the New Black was posted this week in which she discusses how season 3 is better than the previous two seasons.

'Orange Is the New Black's Bennett Getting Flashback Episode In Season 3?

DeLaria, who plays Big Boo on the prison dramedy, spoke with Slate recently about a variety of topics, including the return of Orange Is the New Black in the summer. The actress revealed that season 3 is actually better than season 1 and season 2 and it's not even close.

"I'm not gonna blow smoke up your a--. It's not gonna happen. There's no two ways about it, season 3 is so much better than anything they've put out yet," she teased. "I mean we're shocked! Season 2 was definitely better than season 1, we all felt that way . . . Season 3 is so much better than season 1 and 2 it's not even in the same ballpark. And I'm not building it up and I won't get in trouble for saying this because we all feel this way."

She said that series creator Jenji Kohan and the writers have outdone themselves with season 3, and there will be one particular scene in the premiere to watch out for.

"When you see my entrance in the first episode of season 3 if you - to a man - if you don't piss yourself with laughter then there's something f---ing wrong with you. Period. It's your fault, not the show, just saying."

Big Boo's backstory has yet to be revealed up to this point in the show and DeLaria did not speak on if she would have a flashback in the upcoming season.

DeLaria also discussed the resonance it has had in the audience to have three-dimensional women from all walks of life, including different ethnicities and body types, being shown on this one series.

"They're talking about life and what it means to be a woman and it resonates," she explained. "Obviously people have been starved for it."

Orange Is the New Black returns for season 3 on Friday, June 12 on Netflix.
