A relationship between Caterina Scorsone's character Dr. Amelia Shepherd and Kevin McKidd's character Dr. Owen Hunt has been brewing and in Thursday night's episode it appeared as though Amelia admitted to falling in love with him to her brother Derek (Patrick Dempsey).

Amelia Rethinks Her Relationship With Owen On 'Grey's Anatomy'

Next Thursday during the episode called Crazy Love, it seems as though Dr. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) will have a lot of input on her sister-in-law's budding romance, according to the press release.

On Thursday, The Hollywood Reporter revealed some insight straight from Scorsone on how Meredith feels about her sister-in-law being involved with Owen.

Meredith has issues since Owen was with Meredith's best friend Dr. Cristina Yang, who was portrayed by Sandra Oh. Cristina last appeared on Grey's Anatomy during the Season 10 finale.

"Meredith definitely has some strong feelings about Amelia and Owen's relationship. Amelia really didn't know much about Cristina. She may have met her in passing, but she didn't know much about the relationship between Owen and Cristina and how significant that was," Scorsone said.

Amelia is pretty much in the dark on what happened between Owen and Cristina since she arrived as Cristina was leaving.

Meredith will have a lot to say, but according to Scorsone, "Amelia is in this pink cloud of new love or new affection."
