Gisele Bundchen revealed earlier this year that she was expecting her second child with husband Tom Brady, and her ever-expanding baby bump has been photographed several times over the last few weeks as she nears her due date.

The former Victoria's Secret supermodel revealed her pregnancy not through an interview or statement from a publicist, but when she hit the beach in a tiny bikini and bared her growing belly for all to see.

Her baby bump was photographed in late August when Bundchen took her first child, 2-year-old Benjamin, to a park in Boston. She was dressed for a casual day of comfort in a T-shirt bearing the face of a white leopard, sunglasses and a black headband while she watched her son enjoy some fun in the sun.

Photographers caught her again on Oct. 2 when she ran errands around Boston, when her pregnant belly protruded through an autumnal striped sweater with black leggings and leather boots.

Bundchen and Brady, the quarterback for the New England Patriots, have decided to keep the gender of their new bundle of joy a mystery until the big day, just as they did with their first child. But friends of the supermodel say the couple is hoping for a baby sister for Benjamin.

"She's hoping it's a girl - she loves little girls," a source said. "But she wants to be surprised, like when she had her first baby, Ben."

There's no doubt the couple will have plenty cash to spoil the new baby. Bundchen is the world's highest-paid model; she raked in $45 million from modeling, endorsement deals, licensing and real estate between May 2011 and May 2012.

Brady isn't doing badly for himself, either. He signed a four-year, $72 million contract extension with the Patriots in 2010.
