Amanda Seyfried has had her share of on-screen love interests, but it seems a new man is taking up those duties in real life.

The 26-year-old actress has been spotted several times as of late with a mystery male companion. The most recent sighting is what appeared to be a date night, as the couple was photographed leaving a romantic dinner at The Darby restaurant in New York City's West Village last week.

Seyfried looked happy with her new man as they walked the streets arm in arm. The actress wore her long blonde locks loose and dressed for the evening in a long coat, black jeans and leather boots. She completed her look with a large gray snakeskin handbag. Her date wore a black overcoat with a white dress shirt and jeans.

Last week's dinner date was only the most recent time Seyfried was spotted with her mystery man. The couple was seen earlier this month as they went for a walk in New York City with Seyfriend's dog, an Australian Shepherd named Finn, who she says is truly the most important man in her life.

"He's my best friend," Seyfried has said about her dog. "I love him. I think of him and only him. I don't like to be out late because I just want to go home to my dog."

Seyfried has been linked to a number of men over the last few months, including Ryan Phillippe, "Dexter" actor Desmond Harrington and her "Mamma Mia!" co-star Dominic Cooper.

After making appearances in several television shows, Seyfried made her big-screen debut in 2004's "Mean Girls" alongside Lindsay Lohan and Tina Fey. Since then, she has become quite the movie star and had lead roles in films like "Dear John," "Mamma Mia!" and the upcoming adaptation of "Les Miserables."
