Bobbi Kristina Brown's grandmother, Cissy Houston, has reversed claims that her father Bobby Brown made that she was out of a coma.

Houston made a statement Tuesday morning, just a couple of days after Bobby said that his daughter 'is awake' to clear the air.

"While she is no longer in a medically induced coma she has tracheotomy and according to the doctors she has global and irreversible brain damage and remains unresponsive. Meeting with the doctors and understanding that she can live in this condition for a lifetime truly saddens me. We can only trust in God for a miracle at this time."

Given Houston, the mother of Whitney Houston's, newest statement, it remains unclear why Bobby would tell a crowd of thousands that not only was Bobbi Kristina 'awake' but that she is 'watching me.'

Bobby's wife, Alicia Etheredge-Brown, said he was in an "emotional state" when he said his daughter was out of the medically induced coma.

"She has made it out of ICU, opened her eyes, and started a rehabilitation that will be long and hard."

Family on the Brown side of the family also took to their Facebook pages to confirm Bobby's statement. The Brown family lawyer, Chris Brown did add that her condition has gotten better. But now the question is what her life will be like from here on out.

"Doctors have indicated that she will have a long life. However, Bobbi Krsitina is presently embarking on a rehabilitation process and thew quality of her life will not be known for years to come."

Bobbi Kristina was in a medically induced coma since Jan. 31. Just before she was found unconscious in her bathtub in Atlanta.
