His relationship and his professional life have both been providing him with lots of praise and good fortune from those he is trying to impress, and now, Rick (Jacob Young) may feel it is time to take one step closer to his plans for the future on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Rick Insists His Relationship With Maya Is Solid

He receives another visit from his father, Eric (John McCook) and mother, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) to see how he is performing as CEO of Forrester--and they will both continue to be impressed by the numbers that the company is seeing in sales lately.

"What you've done with this company so far as CEO is very impressive," Eric says to his son in a preview clip for the Thursday, April 23 episode.

Carter Threatens To Tell Maya's Secret

After learning that they are still impressed with his work, despite consistently hearing rumblings from the staff that he is making their work environment unbearable, Rick will feel confident enough to tell his parents that he plans to officially move past his marriage with Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) by making things with Maya (Karla Mosley a little more official).

"I'm thinking of proposing," he says in the clip.

And though his relationship with Maya was something that they initially resisted against, and they previously tried encouraging him to reunite with Caroline, his parents will likely approve of his intentions for after his divorce becomes final--giving Rick the confidence he needs to possibly go through with the plan.

However, if he does, he will be in for a big shock, because Maya's secret that she is transgender is one she has promised to share with Rick once he proposes--and if she goes through with that promise, there's no telling how he will react.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
