Carter (Lawrence St. Victor) has been insisting he has a secret about Maya (Kara Mosley) that Rick (Jacob Young) should know, but the Forrester CEO will continue to refuse hearing anything negative about the woman he loves on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Carter Threatens To Tell Maya's Secret

Carter overheard an argument between Maya and her sister Nicole (Reign Edwards), which revealed that Maya was actually transgender, and had been born a boy named Myron. Carter was shocked and disgusted that Maya never confided this information about herself with him, despite their previously being engaged and having slept together.

Since learning the truth, he has been threatening to let Rick know, and will continue trying to get him to understand that Maya isn't always honest with him, and definitely isn't who she claims to be-but Rick will once again shut down the possibility that Maya is lying to him and will insist that they are always honest with each other.

Maya Begs Carter Not To Expose The Truth

"Maya and I we've been through a lot together," he says in a preview clip for the Wednesday, April 8 episode. "We know each other better than most couples ever will."

After he leaves and Carter has still had no success at warning him however, Maya will continue pleading her case to Carter for keeping the secret-and will try to make him understand that he was never with Myron-only Maya.

"The woman who Rick-and you-see standing in front of you is the real me," she says in the clip.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
