Rest easy, Walking Dead fans who love Daryl (which is pretty much all of them). After rumors online spread that The Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl Dixon, could be leaving the hit cable horror show after putting his Atlanta home up for sale, Reedus has officially denied the claims.

Is Norman Reedus Leaving 'The Walking Dead'?

Reedus recently sat down with The Wrap to discuss the rumors and according to the actor, "That's not even my house, it's a rumor."

Meanwhile there's more good news for fans. According to Times-Herald, season 6 will begin filming in Senoia, Georgia on next month.

'The Walking Dead' Creator Robert Kirkman Spills Secrets About New Season

Production for the new season is reportedly set to begin on May 4th. It's also reported that show creator Robert Kirkman could reveal the first inside look at the new season during the upcoming 2015 Comic-Con in July.

Of course producers aren't willing to give away too many details but there are a few things that they are willing to share.

While Reedus has confirmed that he is not leaving the show just yet, there have been a few rumors that suggest that two new characters will be joining the cast when season 6 returns.

Last week, the Master Herald reported that, "One of the new characters named Delvin is a 'twenty-something African-American cynic' that might still believe that even though he has seen some very bad things, people can generally be decent deep down inside."

"The other character is called Tucker and he 'values fairness.' Neither of the two new names show up in the comic books, but they are members of the Alexandria Safe-Zone."

As of now there has been no word on when the show will return, so be sure to check in for more updates.
