Production for the highly anticipated Fifty Shades of Grey movie sequel has finally begun and after announcing official release dates for the Darker and Freed films, producer's shard the first photo teaser from the new film.

On Thursday, Access Hollywood reported that Universal Pictures executives announced at CinemaCon that the two sequels are finally in the works.

According to the site, Fifty Shades Darker is set to hit theaters on February 10, 2017. Fifty Shades Freed will also arrive just in time for Valentine's Day on February 9, 2018.

Following the confirmation, the site released the first official photo of Dornan portraying Christian Grey in the new Fifty Shades Darker film.

In the teaser photo, the actor is seen looking mysterious as he covers his eyes with a masquerade ball mask.
