On Monday, the series' Twitter page posted a video with Vanessa Ray who plays Officer Edit Jenko on the crime drama. She expressed her anticipation for the episode that will likely leave everyone in massive awe.

"We're really excited that you are going to watch the season finale in four days!" Ray said with glee. "Are you excited?! I'm kind of excited."

Chatter On Frank's 'Personal Stake' On 'Blue Bloods'

The video's caption made it clear that this will be an episode that fans are not going to want to miss out on.

"Don't miss the biggest #BlueBloods finale yet on Friday at 10/9c," the caption says.

As the series finishes up its fifth season, some are probably wondering if there will be a sixth year for the CBS drama. According to a recent report from TV By The Numbers, odds are looking pretty decent that it will be back. It's not 100 percent yet, but there seems to be a fairly high amount of hope.

Some other shows that are expected to be renewed for a new season include Elementary, Person of Interest, and NCIS: Los Angeles. The Odd Couple and Criminal Minds also seem to have a bright future even though nothing is set in stone.

According to the site, Madam Secretary, NCIS: New Orleans and Mike & Molly have already been renewed.
