On Tuesday, Carter Matt released a synopsis of what will happen in the episode called "Fresh Start" airing on February 19. A cop will go AWOL so Danny and Baez will figure out what the deal is with that. It doesn't seem too likely for a cop to do this and it leaves a lot of questions on what went down and what the investigators will discover.

It also gets bizarre when a man is accused of killing a cop, which trails back to Erin. She is, after all, the one who set this man free, leaving her to wallow with guilt and confusion. This could cause some major backlash on her for a few episodes if the emotion finds a way to sink into her bones.

Meanwhile, it was announced on the crime drama's Twitter page that celebrity Whoopi Goldberg will be guest starring on the series as 'Speaker Regina Thomas.' It wasn't revealed what the episode would be about or how big of a part she would play, but odds are likely it'll be worth the wait to find out.
