Jenelle Evans is planning to move on from Nathan Griffith with a much better man in the future.

'Teen Mom 2' Star Jenelle Evans Hints At Fight, Struggles With 'Depression'

On Twitter, after news of the Teen Mom 2 star's split from former fiancé Griffith hit the web, Evans told her fans and followers that her standards for men are much higher now than they once were.

“My standards are set so high for dating guys in the future compared to my mentality a year or two ago. Lol,” Evans wrote, clearly dissing Griffith, whom she began dating in June “I have saw the light,” she added.

Evans and Griffith began dating in the summer of 2013, and quickly moved in together and began planning for a family. Just one year later, in June 2014, their son, Kaiser, was born. Then, earlier this year, the couple’s relationship took another major step when they became engaged during a vacation to St. Thomas, which was filmed for Teen Mom 2.

“We went to a fancy restaurant, and we were just going out to have a nice dinner,” Evans told MTV at the time. “[Nathan] just tapped his glass, stood up in front of the whole restaurant, and made this big speech. How he loves me, he wants to be with me for the rest of his life. And he’s really happy. And then he got down on one knee and proposed in front of everyone.”

Less than two months later, Evans and Griffith called it quits.

Jenelle Evans will return to MTV in Teen Mom 2 season 6 on July 9 at 10 p.m.
