Somebody now owns one of the most treasured vehicles from the Fast and Furious franchise: Paul Walker's character's stunt car in the first instalment of the series.

Furious 8 To Be Set In New York City?

The car, a Toyota Supra, was auctioned off in Indianapolis for $185,000, the Day Herald reported. The car's engine was powered by 200 horsepower and 6 cylinders.

The auction had been announced in April, and an Entertainment Weekly report revealed that the vehicle that revved up Paul Walker's career in Hollywood was being auctioned. The 1993 Toyota Supra was one of many that were available on set when the movie was being made. Mecum Auctions initiated this process. The car is also iconic because it was featured in the final race sequence of the movie, bringing up its value. At the time, the price range was being estimated from $150,000 to $200,000.

Paul Walker's Character To Be Replaced By Brother, Cody, InFurious 7 Sequel?

Here's a snippet from the official listing:

"This Supra was featured throughout the movie, including the final race scene between Walker's character and that of fellow actor Vin Diesel. During the climactic scene, Walker drives this Supra head to head against Diesel's Dodge Charger in a race to a railroad crossing where both cars jump the tracks just in time to miss an oncoming train and just as the action appears to calm down, Vin Diesel's character collides with a semi; flipping the Charger over the Supra as it cruises ahead. The car is equipped with a 2JZ-GE 3.0L/220 HP inline-6 engine and 5-speed manual transmission, with power augmented by twin Holley Performance nitrous oxide bottles mounted in the rear compartment (not attached)."

Furious 7 hit theaters on April 3, 2015.
