'Empire' Season 2: 50 Cent Slams Show Ahead Of New Episodes [VIDEO]
In the heat of the second season of series, Power, 50 Cent is still dissing Fox’s juggernaut hit series Empire.

Power (which airs on Starz) has officially been renewed for season 3 but 50 Cent can’t keep his eyes off of Empire, a series that he said copied lots ideas from Power from the marketing to controversial story lines.
He had no shame sharing an Instagram snapshot this week of himself with the caption, “EMPIRE is some [stuff] you should get for free. Now that power is worth paying for, STARZ premium cable. SAT 9pm lol”.

While Empire broke major records with its millions of ratings and all-star celebrity appearances, fans seem to agree with 50 Cent that Power is a better series.
“I love Power….most that say Empire is better probably don’t even have premium channels..lol”.
“Empire was good until I start watching Power”.
“nothing like #Power (get some)”.
While 50 Cent can’t seem to let the comparisons go, Power star Naturi Naughton, who plays lead character Ghost’s sassy wife Tasha, said she still doesn’t see any similarities.
“I don’t understand the comparisons,” she told Cocoa Fab earlier this month. “We’re in two different worlds. I don’t even want to put us in the same box. I don’t see how it’s the same. We’re on a cable network and we can do so much more. We’re bilingual, we can be a lot more gritty and we shoot in New York City.”
