Jenelle Evans is at odds with her mother during a new sneak peek at Teen Mom 2 season six.

'Teen Mom 2' Couple Jenelle Evans & Nathan Griffith Are Officially Back On

During the clip, Barbara learns Evans' on-again, off-again fiance, Nathan Griffith, purchased her a trip to St. Thomas for her birthday. Unfortunately, Barbara doesn't think the vacation will be a good thing for Evans' young son, Jace.

"I gotta make plans for Jace, because I didn't know you were going to be gone," Barbara tells Evans after learning she and Griffith won't be taking him along. "You're not going to see him now because you're going to the Virgin Islands."

Evans' mother has had custody of Jace, 5, since months after his birthday, and while Evans has spoke of regaining custody, she has yet to do so. Instead, she and Griffith welcomed a child of their own, son Kaiser, last year.

Because of the ongoing stress Barbara is under having to care full-time for Jace, she and Evans argue often.

"It was a surprise," Evans continues of her and Griffith's trip. "You act like I booked the tickest. See, this is what I mean. Every time I talk to you it's just negativity all the time. I try to tell you something nice, and it turns into something like this. Can you shut up so I can f**king talk? Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up."

Teen Mom 2 season six premieres on July 9 at 10 p.m. on MTV.
