In what could turn out to be a deciding game in their Champions League campaign, Chelsea will face off against Juventus in Turin on Tuesday.

The defending champions are currently tied with Shakhtar Donetsk for the Group E lead with seven points apiece. If Chelsea were to lose and Shakhtar were to defeat Nordsjaelland today, the squad could potentially find themselves on the brink of elimination, becoming the first trophy holders to be cut short of the knockout stages.

Roberto Di Matteo's team is coming off a tough 2-1 loss at the hands of West Brom in Premier League play. In the EPL, Chelsea is currently four points adrift in the title race. Hence, the football club will be looking to rebound to their usual form on Tuesday evening.

On the Juventus side, the team appears concerned with the fitness of Mirko Vucinic, who has been regulated to the sidelines with a flu. With the striker unlikely to take the field on Tuesday, Sebastian Giovinco is expected to play upfront with Nicklas Bendtner and Alessandro Martri on the bench as reserves.

Chelsea will have a dilemma upfront of their own, not knowing whether to sit the struggling Fernando Torres. With Torres' lack of performance becoming more of an issue, Daniel Sturridge could very well get the call to play sooner rather than later.
