"The X-Factor" co-host Mario Lopez married Courtney Mazza, his girlfriend of four years, on Dec. 1 in Mexico, People confirmed.

The outdoor beach ceremony was held in Punta Mita, Mexico, at the seaside estate  of "Girls Gone Wild" creator Joe Francis.

The couple did not see one another before the ceremony, but "Extra" reported that Lopez told Mazza, "I can't wait for you to be Mrs. Lopez."

People magazine said that the wedding celebrations included a mariachi band and a wedding cake with a "winter-wonderland-meets-beach theme" by "Cake Boss" Buddy Valastro. A string quartet played as Lopez, 39, and his mother walked down the aisle, and Mazza, 31, then walked down with her father.

She wore a wedding dress designed by Ines di Santo and the couple's 2-year-old daughter Gia sported a matching outfit. Gia was a flower girl at the wedding and the couple walked down the aisle with her.

The couple celebrated their Jan. 1, 2012 engagement in Ixtapa, Mexico, and returned to the country for their nuptials. Pictures that have surfaced from the Dec. 1 event show the couple under a white gazeboo by the ocean, where Lopez and Mazza exchanged their vows in front of a close group of family and friends, including actress Eva Longoria.

It is the first marriage for Mazza and the second one for Lopez, who married model and actress Ali Landry in 2004. Lopez and Mazza first met when they both starred in the Broadway's 2006 revival of "A Chorus Line" and began dating in 2008.

Lopez co-hosts "The X-Factor: USA" with Khloe Kardashian, though he got his big break on the television series "Saved by the Bell." He was also once named People's Sexiest Man Alive.

A two-hour TLC wedding special titled "Mario and Courtney's Wedding Fiesta" is expected to air Dec. 8.
