One Direction's Liam Payne has branched out, now knowing what a little solo living is like.

One Direction's Niall Horan Is In Good Spirits As He Nurses A Fractured Foot

On Wednesday the One Direction member revealed he did a cover shoot for Attitude magazine's October issue, which is completely solo; yep, that's right, Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson are nowhere to be found in the smoldering glossy photos with him or giving answers to the questions he was asked.

Payne initially seemed excited, sharing, "Can't wait for you all to see the shoot!"

Why Do 1D Fans Suddenly Want Liam Payne To Braid His Bandmate Harry Styles' Hair?

That quickly changed though once the interview released. A fan uploaded scans of each page on her Tumblr, which can be viewed here and here.

Payne looks as handsome as ever on the covers as seen below, but his responses to the questions seem to have not gone over well with many fans.

Payne literally tackled the gamut of topics from talking of his bandmate Tomlinson's upcoming fatherhood, in which he dished, "He's very happy about becoming a dad," to discussing how he's in love with his girlfriend Sophia Smith and so much more. One touchy topic that has majority of fans reeling is his comments made about a fan theory that Tomlinson and Styles are actually a gay couple. The theory has been around for ages and apparently his comments came off homophobic, but in reality, the singer was just voicing what he sees and what he actually knows since he is there behind the scenes. Anyway, all the backlash amounted and Payne snapped back on Twitter. "It's funny I thought people appreciated honesty these days," he stated.

He later added he is not "a victim" even though some were claiming he was playing that card.

He then thanked Attitude or featuring him regardless of many of the negative comments that have resulted since the issue dropped.

On the bright side, at least Payne knows how a solo interview can pan out with that hiatus coming up.
