Another big name has signed on to the second season of ABC's thrilling murder mystery series Secrets and Lies.

Terry O'Quinn Joins 'Secrets and Lies'

AnnaLynne McCord, who previously played Naomi on the CW's 90210 reboot and also appeared on Dallas, has joined the cast in a recurring role of Melanie Warner, the outspoken and slightly inappropriate housewife of Patrick Warner, the third child of private equity magnate, John Warner.

According to Deadline's character decription, Melanie thought she had finally made something of herself after marrying into the Warner family, only to find herself clearly not accepted by the family-and never finds herself truly as a part of their fold.

New Cast Additions Are Announced For 'Secrets and Lies'

McCord joins a cast chock full of intriguing names for the new season of the show. Returning from season one is Juliette Lewis as Detective Andrea Cornell. New to the show are Michael Ealy as Eric Warner (the main suspect whose wife, Kate is murdered), Jordana Brewster as Kate, Mekia Cox as Amanda Warner (Eric's sister), Charlie Barnett as Patrick Warner and Terry O'Quinn as John.

The storyline for the new season is set to follow the mystery of Kate's death, which comes at a horrible and inconvenient time for her husband, Eric, who is the heir apparent to the family's private equity firm. He's newly married to Kate and happily so, and is ready to celebrate his father passing the reins on to him for the family business, but tragedy soon overshadows everything when Kate winds up date.

Considering the description of McCord's character, she could be revealed as an early suspect who may have murdered Kate out of jealousy when she is much more easily accepted into the family.
