Beyonce will "definitely" release new music ahead of her Super Bowl half-time performance in February, according to one of her music collaborators.

Famed songwriter The Dream revealed he has been working on new material for her upcoming as-yet-titled fifth album. After much success with five songs he co-wrote for her last album, 2011's "4," Beyonce recruited the hit songmaker to be "involved in every part of the (album making) process."

When asked if fans can expect to hear new material before the 2013 Superbowl, The Dream told Billboard: "Definitely. She's got her stuff going. She took the summer to start recording, and now she's in a place where she's ready to start gearing up to reveal her plan."

"She's already gearing up to get ready to put stuff out," The Dream added. "I'm sure there will probably be a couple records you hear before the Super Bowl gets here."

The singer-songwriter has also contributed hits for Rihanna's recently released "Unapologetic." He wrote some of RiRi's other chart-topping hits including "Umbrella" and "Birthday Cake."

No other information was provided about the unreleased tracks, but with Beyonce's track record for delivering award-winning hits with great collaborators, it will likely be a success. Rumors swirled of an upcoming album when a photo went viral of her in the studio with R&B music's latest sensation Miguel.

February, 2013 will be a busy month for the "Love On Top" singer. She will perform for the Super Bowl halftime show at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans on Feb. 3, 2013.

On Feb. 16, HBO will air a documentary she directed and executive-produced that spotlights moments from her professional and personal life. The untitled film will feature rare footage including moments during her pregnancy, with her husband, hip-hop mogul Jay-Z and their daughter Blue Ivy.
