Raven Symone is going to continue to tell it like it is on The View.

Raven Symone Says People Think She's 'Being Fake' Sometimes

On Monday, Out posted details from the talk show co-host who is part of the magazine's 100 list. She opened up on being part of the series and her enrollment at San Francisco's Academy of Art University.

"I was perfectly okay with just school and not having a job," Symone said. "But the love and family nature I felt at The View brought me back to TV in a permanent way."

As much as she might enjoy being a co-host on the series, she's made some controversial comments lately that caused massive outrage throughout the public. While some might wonder if she'll be holding back in the future, it turns out she's going to speak her mind in the way she sees fit.

"This country has continuously ostracized groups of people that have a truth different from the status quo," she said. "I will continue to tell my truth."

One moment that really set the record was when Symone responded to the South Carolina incident when a police officer dragged a high school student across the floor of a classroom after she didn't put her phone away. While Symone mentioned that the officer was at fault, she added that the girl was told "multiple times" to get off her phone and she should've "followed the rules."
