We now know the adorable face that goes with the incognito photos that Kandi Burruss of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta and her husband Todd Tucker have been posting of their newborn child, Ace Wells Tucker.

Burruss, who gave birth to Ace on Jan. 6, showed his face for the first time in a feature with People magazine.

“We worked really hard for him,” Burruss said. She is shown holding baby Ace in the photo. “It was a long process and lots of needles.”

Burruss and Todd were very open about their struggle to have their first child together on the show. Burruss is mom to Riley and Todd has daughter Kaela from a previous relationship. But after she and Todd tied the knot back in 2014, they wanted to work on having another baby. She underwent IVF treatment after trying for roughly a couple of years.

“It’s like starting all over,” she revealed. “We were like, ‘Which bottles do we use? What diapers do we buy?’ Simple stuff that you would think I already know and I don’t. It’s silly.”

In the featured snapshot, Burruss sits in Ace’s room that is decked out with oversized stuffed animals.

She explained, “We wanted a safari theme because we met in Africa, but we didn’t want it o be over the top. It’s safari chic. Safari clean.”

As for how the family is adjusting to the new addition, Burruss said everything is all good.

“I always wanted a boy so we were super excited because we have two girls and they give us much attitude. We look forward to having a boy.”
