NCIS star Rocky Carroll is known for portraying Director Leon Vance, but the actor also has dabbled in directing episodes for the CBS series!

The actor made his directorial debut last season during the episode "We Build, We Fight," which aired at the beginning of February.

His second directing gig came with this season's episode called "Viral," which aired at the end of October.

It seems as though Carroll will be directing again in 2016 for another Season 13 episode.

Last Tuesday night, the Abby Sciuto portrayer, Pauley Perrette, shared a snap from on set of herself with her costar, but admitted he was directing the episode they were currently filming.

"@RockyCOfficial was directing," she dished.

The image she shared is of her in Abby's unique clothing. The forensic specialist is known for her love of skulls so it makes sense that Perrette has on skull detailed gloves as well as a hat and scarf combination. As Abby, Perrette is also donning a black sweater with white hearts on it paired with black pants, knee socks and warm boots.

Carroll, meanwhile, has on a hoodie for comfort as he directs the episode.

Perrette mentioned the temperature hit 84 degrees while she had to wear all of those heavy clothing items as Abby.

"Sweat," she tweeted to get the point across that she was feeling overheated by all of Abby's attire.

We're not exactly sure what to expect in this upcoming episode, but perhaps Abby's lab will go haywire with its temperature. She is sporting her lab coat after all so perhaps her lab will be extra cold.

NCIS airs on Tuesdays on CBS at 8 p.m. ET.
