The world just learned they were the first ones to cross the finish line on this season of The Amazing Race and became million dollar winners, but Kelsey Gerckens and Joey Buttitta have even more exciting news to share with their fans: They're engaged!

Kelsey & Joey Dish On Their Win & The Fight With The Paparazzi

The pair appeared on Hallmark Channel's Home & Family Tuesday alongside show host Phil Keoghan, and during the taping, Buttitta surprised his love by getting down on one knee and proposing.

The moment came when hosts Cristina Ferrare and Mark Steines brought up what a wedding for the pair would look like, which led to Buttitta standing up and then getting down on one knee next to Gerckens, asking her to be his wife.

"Kelsey, I love you so much, and we have run this amazing journey together, and I love you, I can't imagine being with anyone else. Will you marry me?" he said.

Gerckens giggled and said "Oh my God," before quickly saying yes and bending down to kiss her now fiance.

Buttitta's parents, Joe and Terry, as well as Gerckens' mother Sheryl and brother Chad, were all in the audience for the proposal.

Both took to Twitter not long afterwards to share the news as well.

After they won the race, Buttitta said they would use their winnings to find a place together so they could finally live with one another, and that he would pay off his parents' mortgage. It appears a wedding may now be in the mix for the two as well!
