Faith Hill took to the red carpet at the 55th Grammy Awards on Feb. 10 wearing a new set of braces.

The 45-year-old “This Kiss” singer didn’t appear to lack any confidence as she smiled all the way from the red carpet to the stage where she presented an award alongside her husband Tim McGraw.

The singer attended the awards ceremony wearing a mixed-media black and navy blue sheer cocktail dress by J. Mendel with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. Hill also wore her hair back in a loose chignon, which further showed off her new smile. The Grammy Awards were not the first red carpet to capture Hill’s new smile. At the Country Music Awards Hill answered questions about her decision to get braces with KNIX, a country music station.

“I had braces as a kid,” she said. “I forgot to wear my retainer.”

Two of Hill and McGraw’s three daughters - Gracie, 15, and Maggie, 14, - also have braces. Hill stressed the importance of maintaining good dental health from a young age by saying, “Kids, wear your retainer!”
