Alek Skarlatos' crush on Emma Slater in this past season of ABC's Dancing With the Stars was a fun subplot--and as it turns out, he still has a crush on her!

How 'Dancing With the Stars' Prepared Julianne Hough To Take On 'Grease Live'

Skarlatos danced with Slater as part of Switch Up Week in the latest season of Dancing With the Stars and took a liking to her. And his regular partner, Lindsay Arnold, likes to tease him for it, even to this day.

Skarlatos and Arnold played a game of "Who's Most Likely To?" with Entertainment Weekly recently. Asked which one of them uses more emojis in their texts, both said Skarlatos. Arnold took the opportunity to rib Skarlatos a bit more for his crush.

"For every contact that he has, he has like, emojis for them," Arnold revealed. "And one specific contact that he has a crush on has like 15 heart-eye emojis, so that's just embarrassing, Alec."

Skarlatos gave a knowing smile, replying, "I think we all know it's Emma."

He then revealed the emojis he has for Slater, including: "guy girl kissing, peach, banana, heart."

Arnold and Skarlatos were also asked about which of them is more likely to cry over an Adele song. They both said the other, but Arnold got the last laugh:

"All the time," Arnold said, of Skarlatos crying to Adele. "He thinks of Emma and tears just stream out of his face."

Dancing With the Stars returns for another season on Monday, March 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
