Premiere underwear brands Jockey and Fruit of the Loom are reportedly duking it out with the motivator being the representation of Jon Hamm's private parts.

International Design Times stated that both companies are offering the Mad Men principal actor a lifetime supply of their respective products.

In terms of his highly publicized bulge, Hamm hasn't exactly embraced the recent buzz. In the latest issue of Rolling Stone, he said, "They're called 'privates' for a reason."

The 42-year-old's package first made its way into the media in 2010 when a slew of gossip sources began putting together photographic evidence of his protruding accessory.

Gawker had put out a headline that read "Jon Hamm's Salami: A Photographic Investigation" while Celeb*tchy dished that "Jon Hamm loves to let his junk swing & his lack of underwear is causing problems."

Both Jockey and Fruit of the Loon each vied for the opportunity to represent Hamm's manhood.

"Jockey would like to offer our support for Jon Hamm in the form of a lifetime supply of Jockey underwear," a Jockey representative told TMZ.

However, Fruit of the Loom didn't shy away from reaching out to Hamm either.

"We want people to be themselves. And if going Commando makes you happy, we say go for it. But in case you change your mind, we got you covered."

New York Daily News had reported that an AMC network insider said that Hamm, who plays Don Draper, was asked to start wearing underwear on set to minimize the appearance of his apparently oversized man parts from beneath his trousers.

"This season takes place in the 1960s, where the pants are very tight and leave little to the imagination. Jon's impressive anatomy is so distracting that they politely insisted on underwear," the insider said.

The insider also added that certain promotional photos with the actor in them had to be Photoshopped to make Hamm's groin area less distracting, especially to the bus advertisements and large billboards.

"Imagine how distracting that would be on the side of a bus or building. When the promotional pictures came back the first few seasons, we had to work with them. Everyone was concerned about too much Christina Hendricks boob, but it's Jon that has the most to show. It's a good problem to have," the source continued.
