Are you ready for NCIS' Tony DiNozzo to walk out of the bullpen for the final time?

Michael Weatherly's time as a Super Special Agent and Gibbs' right hand man is drawing to a close. After devoting 12 long years to serving NCIS, a recent case made Tony realize that, outside of work, his life could be found lacking. When episode 24 rolls around, the movie buff will have a life-changing decision to make.

Titled "Family First," DiNozzo's final episode will air on May 17.

"NCIS, FBI, and MI6 continue and international manhunt for an escaped British spy who is targeting current and former agents," CBS teased.

The highly anticipated hour will feature the return of FBI Special Agent Tess Monroe (Sarah Clarke) and MI6 Agent Clayton Reeves (Duane Henry), both of whm will be introduced in episode 23, "Dead Letter." Monroe is quick witted and shrewed, according to TV Line. Reeves, however, is "offbeat and fun with swagger to spare." Both of these characters have the potential to team up with Gibbs' ever-shrinking contingency when NCIS returns for season 13.

It is unknown exactly how or why DiNozzo will exit. Will he fall protecting a fellow agent? Will he simply back his belongings in search of greener pastures? Or is he running to someone? Whatever the case, executive producer Gary Glasberg promises long-time viewers won't be left wanting.

""We're really trying to give everybody something that leaves them satisfied," Glasberg told TV Line.

In the meantime, Weatherly's agent still has cases to solve. Next Tuesday, NCIS and the FBI will start in on the case of the missing British spy in "Return to Sender" (see a preview below).

"Gibbs and Senior FBI Agent T.C. Fornell (Joe Spano) unite after two British prisoners, including a former spy, escape and arrive stateside via a shipping container," CBS teased. "Also, McGee is busy apartment hunting and determined to find out how DiNozzo purchased his lavish place."
