Blacklist's Post Office team is out for revenge, and they won't stop until those responsible for Liz's death are brought to justice. Or killed, either one works.

Lizzie's (Megan Boone) unexpected demise will be four episodes in the rearview by time "Alexander Kirk" airs, but the season 3 finale will bring Ressler's (Diego Klattenhoff) team one step closer to their goal.

"The FBI task force's hunt for revenge nears its endgame. As Reddington (James Spader) and the team close in on the mysterious arch-criminal responsible for recent tragic events, they're forced to operate outside their comfort zone--and outside the law--in order to take down their enemy once and for all," NBC teased.

Set to air on May 12, the episode will force Red to head to head with an old foe. The week's titular Blacklister (played by Ulrich Thomsen) will have a long and bitter rivalry with the FBI's smooth-talking asset. Kirk is a leader of a global energy empire, according to Entertainment Weekly, and is linked to "one of the most intimate, shocking secrets from Red's past.

As he attempts to deal with Kirk and his insidious secret, the master criminal will be served a second helping of trouble. According to TV Line, Red will fall victim to a shocking betrayal courtesy of "someone very unexpected."
