A new community is set to be introduced in the seventh season of The Walking Dead which could mean that Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and company could have some help as they try to fight back against Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and The Saviors.

A casting call has gone out for the recurring role of Augustus, who sounds similar to a comic book counterpart known as Ezekiel. In the Robert Kirkman comics, Ezekiel is the self-proclaimed king of The Kingdom, who is known for being flamboyant, wise, nice, weird, and has a pet tiger named Shiva.

Should the show continue to mostly follow the storyline in the comics, the introduction of The Kingdom could mean big things for Alexandria, which has been handed a major blow due to Negan's now claiming half of everything they own, and bludgeoning one of the core members of the community to death (the identity of the killed off character is not yet confirmed, though most speculation seems to indicate the show followed the comics, where Glenn [Steven Yuen] was the victim). In the comics, The Kingdom was also revealed to be part of a trading network with The Hilltop, so when they are introduced to Alexandria, a plan is set to be put into motion which will help take down the Saviors and avenge whoever was killed.

It is unclear if the other big part of the storyline, where Ezekiel had an affair with Michonne (Danai Gurira) will also be brought on to the show, since Michonne is currently hooked up with Rick, and was one of the other potential victims of Negan's decision to bash in someone's head with his studded baseball bat.

The Walking Dead is set to return to AMC in October.
