According to a report that GLOBE, citing an unnamed insiders, the actor has become increasingly angry over what he sees as a quiet distancing by longtime friends and colleagues. The sources allege Jackman believes Furness has been speaking negatively about him behind the scenes following their separation.

Jackman and Furness announced their split in September 2023 after nearly three decades of marriage and finalized their divorce in 2025. At the time, they said in a joint statement that they were separating to pursue individual growth after a long and loving partnership.

The latest speculation intensified following the 2026 Met Gala, where actress Nicole Kidman reportedly avoided interaction with Jackman and his girlfriend, actress Sutton Foster.
