She's been swearing that she wants to be on the straight and narrow not that she's in Salem and reunited with her long-lost mother, but Summer's (Marie Wilson) past as a con woman is quickly catching up to her and threatening her happy new life on Days of Our Lives.

She's ready to move in with Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) and Victor (John Aniston), at least temporarily, but her move was halted when a former target from her past showed up in Salem, calling her Cindy and threatening her about giving back the money she swiped from him. Frantic, Summer called both Dario (Jordi Vilasuso) and Brady (Eric Martsolf), admitting the truth about her past to Brady for the first time in the process. However, her situation is only about to get more complicated, because not long after he came to see her and threatened her to give back his money, the target, Clark, will wind up dead.

Now, Summer could find herself in big trouble, because she could quickly become the prime suspect in the death, since she is the only known person to have a connection to him, and would have wanted him dead so she doesn't have to pay back the money she stole from him. In an effort to save herself, even if she isn't guilty, she will need to take a drastic step-and that could come through help with Dario, who will pretend they are a couple and potentially provide her with an alibi.

That plot could also help Summer a little bit when it comes to the other complicated piece of her life, which involved how unwelcome she actually is in Salem, specifically with Brady's fiancee, Theresa (Jen Lilley). She has had her concerns about Brady's need to play hero for so many people, and the stress it places on their relationship, but she's particularly concerned about Summer, who she thinks is trying to steal Brady away from her. Unfortunately though, Summer's scheme with Dario may do nothing to appease Theresa, and she may decide to start looking deeper into Summer's past as a result.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
