Kate Middleton has reportedly received a gift from Kim Kardashian after the reality star learned that the Duchess of Cambridge are both expected to give birth in July.

Kardashian, 31, is reportedly so "obsessed" about the fact that their due dates are two weeks apart that she sent a note "wishing her luck" with a small present.

"When Kim found out the pair had similar due dates, she got incredibly excited," a source told UK's Mirror. "She had her PA write a kind, warm note to Kate, enclosing a gift for the future heir to the throne and explaining they were both due in July."

Middleton, however, has yet to respond, which has left the Kourtney &Kim Take Miami star "saddened."

"(Kardashian) was a little saddened not to have received an immediate response," the source added.

A St. James Palace rep has yet to respond to request to comment on the report.

Kardashian and Middleton both announced their pregnancies in December.

A St. James Palace rep shared the news in a Dec. 3 in a statement. "Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting a baby."

Kardashian's boyfriend, rapper Kanye West, slipped the news, without warning her, when he performed in Atlantic City on Dec. 29.

Middleton and Kardashian reportedly share something else in common- they are both expecting a baby girl. A friend of Kardashian said she will welcome a daughter in February. "They're over the moon!" a source told Us Weekly. "Kanye always wanted a girl."

Middleton caused speculation that she is also pregnant with a baby girl when she made a slip during an event on March 5. When the Duchess was given a teddy bear as a gift, she said: "Thank you, I'll take that for my d--" then cut herself before she could say the word "daughter."

When someone asked her if she was about to say "daughter," Middleton replied, "We're not telling."

Sandra Cook, a local who overheard the brief chat about the baby's sex later told the press: "I said to her: 'You were going to say daughter weren't you?' and (Middleton) said, 'No, we don't know.'"

"I said, 'Oh, I think you do', to which she said: 'We're not telling,'" Cook added.
