Loyalists of the largely-followed TV show Arrested Development received quite the surprise when it was announced that Netflix would be reviving the popular series for a fourth season.

However, unlike protocol for regular TV programming, the company will be releasing the season's episodes all in one sitting.

A new gallery of Arrested Development promotional posters hit the Web recently, The images seem to be aiming at testing the knowledge of fans over objects tied to a particular Bluth family member, according to Screen Rant. Serving to prepare fans for the show's comeback, the nine posters were put up on both Empire and IGN.

The new season will consist of 14 episodes, each revolving around one of the Bluths. However, Michael (Jason Bateman) is said to be present in every installment, though each actor reportedly shot their respective episodes at different points in time due to contract complexities.

The latest AD season will be continuing from where it left off in 2006 but should transcend its storylines into the present time. The season will set the table for an Arrested Development film. If season 4 turns out to be a success, Netflix will undoubtedly want to renew it for further installments.

The series' fourth season has a Netflix premiere date of May 26. Keep checking back for the latest details.
