It's not a televised wedding special, but The Bachelor couple Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell will be back on television screens this fall after landing their own reality series on ABC's sister network, Freeform.

The season 20 stars and engaged couple will premiere their new reality series, Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After in October, and the show is slated to follow the couple as they not only plan their future together, but also adjust to life outside of the Bachelor universe.

"Ben and Lauren are the biggest Bachelor couple of the last 10 years," Karey Burke, executive vice president of programming and development at the cable channel said in a statement. "Their romance captured everyone's attention, and we are delighted to continue their story on Freeform."

While the show, which will also feature Ben considering a future as a politician while Lauren tries establishing a new identity for herself in a new city, as well as alums and fan favorites from the franchise dropping in to give them advice, isn't the first spin-off (The Bachelorette, Bachelor in Paradise and Bachelor Pad all have aired on ABC over the years), this is the first show being given to one of the couples.

It is unclear if the couple will eventually consider a televised special for their wedding on ABC, or if they will choose to air it exclusively on their show. Other couples from the franchise who had televised wedding specials were Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter, Jason Mesnick and Molly Melaney, Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum, and Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici.

If the couple does in fact marry, they will be the second couple from The Bachelor to actually marry one another after the finale proposal, and fifth overall from the entire Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise who married overall. Rehn and Sutter married in 2003 and have two children, Maxwell and Blakesley, Mesnick and Melaney married in 2010 and have a daughter, Riley, Hebert and Rosenbaum married in 2012 and have a son, Fordham, Lowe and Giudici married in 2014 and are expecting their first child any day, and Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried married in 2015, and are also expecting their first child together.

Kaitlyn Bristowe and Sean Booth are also still together, but have not yet announced a wedding date.
