AJ Clemente may have had a bad start to his week - cursing during a live broadcast and losing your job can have that effect - but things are looking up for the nervous anchor as he lines up a string of television appearances, including a spot on the Late Show with David Letterman.

Clemente gained viral video fame during his first broadcast with KFYR, an NBC affiliate out of North Dakota. Clemente, who appeared to be looking at his notes as the camera began to roll, accidently muttered "f------ s---" into his mic as he practiced trying to say the name of the London marathon winner Tsegaye Kebede, reports Radar.

David Letterman has already poked fun at Clemente's gaffe with his top ten list on Monday night, "Top Ten Signs Your First Day as a News Anchor Didn't Go Well," according to the Inquisitr. Amongst the top ten was number eight, "the weatherman tells you to expect an 80 percent chance of unemployment," and number one, you "aspired to be the next Ernie Anastos."

While America was getting a laugh at this rookie mistake, AJ Clemente was getting free publicity. Although he may have made a mistake, at least he is getting a chance to laugh it off on national television.

"Paparazzi Frenzy at Letterman..... So thankful for everyone's support. Biggest mistake to biggest blessing. Just walked past @selenagomez," Clemente tweeted earlier today.

According to a picture on his twitter, it looks as it Clemente will also be appearing on Live! With Kelly And Michael.
