Celine Dion has just told the world that her two year old son Nelson looks better in heels than she does.

In an interview with Katie Couric that is set to run Friday, the My Heart Will Go On singer opened up about her life. Dion said that she allowed her young son to go through her collection of shoes. He picks out his favorite pair and then walks around the house in them.

She shared a picture of the little boy wearing a red tartan blazer, grey pants and a pair of her own three-inch black heels that appeared too big for him.

"I don't know how he does it, but I'm not the only one in the family who loves shoes, believe me," she said.

Dion said she had a love of shoes and that her affection must have rubbed off on her son. She has stopped counting how many pairs she has. However, there is an unofficial count of 3,000.

"I stopped counting because I'm not very good at math," she said.

Dion joked about where Nelson's shoe fetish could end up taking him.

"Stay tuned. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!" she said.

The Katie interview was an exclusive that left every topic open for discussion. Dion did not want it any other way. Couric was given unlimited access to the music icon, her studio and family.

"I have decided a long time ago that I wanted to be an open book," Dion said.

Dion has sold more than 200 million records worldwide. In 1997, she won an Academy Award and a Golden Globe for belting out the theme to the movie, Titanic. In addition, she has released multiple selling albums and has been the reigning voice on the Vegas strip for 10 years. She has been one of the mainstays of Caesars Palace.

She is also the mother of three children with her husband, René Angélil. He has guided her career since the age of 12. They have faced the challenges of infertility and his cancer throughout the years.

"We're normal people as well, we have our struggle," she said.
