American Idol contestant Candice Glover will be receiving personality training, in the weeks following up to the judges’ selections of a new American Idol, Fox News reported.

“Candice really has the best voice and the potential to win, but doesn’t have that much personality. So at the urging of Mariah [Carey] she has been given a professional personality coach in the last couple of weeks,” a source told FOX411’s Pop Tarts column. “Mariah is really rooting for her.”

But this is causing some drama, as the other contestants are not so happy with this arrangement,

“It’s fueling the contestants,” said the insider. “And it’s fueling the ongoing feud between Mariah and Nicky [Minaj] too. Nicky has other ideas of who should win.”

Glover will be joining fellow finalists Kree Harrison, Angie Miller and Amber Holcomb this week, where judges will make some serious decisions on Wednesday night about who will be going through to the next round.

According to the report, country singer Carrie Underwood received the same service when she won during the show in 2005.

“Back then Carrie was considered too quiet and flat,” said the insider. “Bo Bice (the eventual runner-up) was the one with the winning charm.”
