NBC's police procedural occult supernatural drama, Grimm, is set to air the episodes for its sixth and final season next year. Loyal fans and followers of the series can't keep their excitement over the things that are going to happen on the upcoming season.

It has been announced by the NBC network that the sixth season will indeed be the final for the series. And even though fans wanted more, it has also been initially planned that there will only be thirteen episodes for season 6, reduced from 22 from the previous seasons.

Nevertheless, fans are still looking forward for what the upcoming season will offer despite the reduction of episodes. In fact, viewers are constantly updating themselves through several updates and speculations appearing online.

According to International Business Times, the latest promo of the series' final season has already been released on their official website. The promo is reportedly captioned as, "The Final Chapter Will Be GRIMM", where the character Diana Schade-Renard, played by Hannah Loyd, was featured.

As per the source, Diana's destiny includes her having a supernatural power that can do good and bad things. Apparently, if the power falls on the wrong hands, it can lead to do great evil and will have an impact to how the story will go on the upcoming season.

Aside from this, it has also been reported by TV Line that the eponymous Grimm Nicholas 'Nick' Burkhardt, portrayed by actor David Giuntoli, and Captain Sean Renard, played by Sasha Roiz, will have their highly-anticipated face-to-face fight. Roiz even said in an interview that the two characters will not stop fighting until one of them dies.

Moreover, actress Jacqueline Toboni, who portrays the character Theresa 'Trubel' Rubel, shared in an interview that the series finale is going to be exciting and dramatic. She reportedly mentioned that it is going to be emotional that viewers should prepare their tissues ready.

The whole cast and crew have said that they are going to do their one hundred percent efforts to make their fans love the NBC series' finale. They added that there will be a lot of surprises that the audience are going to witness next year.

Grimm Season 6 will premiere on January 6, 2016 on NBC.
