Nicki Minaj was not rejected by NBC, despite a recent rumor circulating the web.

Earlier this week, Media Take Out claimed the rapper's career was "in shambles" after she was rejected by the newtork following an attempt to become a coach on The Voice. However, according to Gossip Cop, the rumors is completely untrue.

After claiming Minaj's Freeform series was canceled, Media Take Out claimed Minaj had "struck out" with the music competition show.

“Nicki Minaj recently tried to hit up ‘The Voice’ to be a judge but they ain’t want her over there due to issues at ‘American Idol’ with Mariah [Carey], nor do they believe she has the likeability to be a judge. Her beefs and attitude have really damaged her reputation and career in this respect,” the outlet alleged. “This had her really pissed her off especially considering Miley [Cyrus’s] presence on the show recently."

In reponse to the Media Take Out report, a source told Gossip Cop that Minaj wasn't turned down for a role on the show -- nor was she ever in talks with the network.

“It’s never been a conversation, ever,” the impeccable insider explained.

Following the recently wrapped 11th season of The Voice, fans are looking forward to the return of Gwen Stefani for Season 12. Then, later in 2017, Miley Cyrus will return to the show for Season 13.
