This year's Miss USA Pageant will be hosted by an American heartthrob and an E! News anchor.

Nick Jonas, from the platinum-selling musical trio the Jonas Brothers, and Giuliana Rancic were announced on Tuesday as the hosts of the 62nd annual pageant held in Las Vegas, as reported by E! News.

"We are excited to announce a veteran and a newcomer as hosts for this year's MISS USA Competition," pageant President Paula M. Shugart said in a statement. "The diverse backgrounds of Rancic and Jonas in the entertainment industry will bring a new and exciting energy to the stage."

Rancic seems just as enthused as Shugart. The star posted a link to a news report about her hosting gig on her Twitter and also wrote, "Exciting announcement..."

The E! Fashion Police star along with the 20-year-old singer will keep the show going as the female contestants show off looks in swimwear and evening gowns, as well as answer critical interview questions. The winner of Donald Trump's pageant will then go on to compete for the Miss Universe title.

Rancic was also the host of last year's competition show, which crowned Olivia Culpo from the USA as the winner.

This may the first time a Jonas is hosting but it won't be the first time one of the brothers appeared on the show. Joe Jonas held a seat on the final judging panel in 2012, along with reality star Rob Kardashian, Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky and Fashion Police's George Kotsiopoulos.

Fans of the Jonas Brothers have one more reason to tune into the show: the siblings will also be performing at the event.

The band goes on tour June 1 until the fall. Tour dates are listed on their website.

The Miss USA Pageant airs on June 16. Tickets are available for purchase here.
