As the auditions for the U.S. X Factor continue, the judges took some time to speak about what viewers can expect to see on season 3.

According to judge Simon Cowell, this season will bring new aspects to the show.

"The middle grounds are different. We've come up with a good idea, which I like, I can't say what it is because everyone else will steal it," said Cowell in a " target="_blank">press interview in June. "But we spent a lot of time trying to make the different sections just more exciting, different than what the other shows are doing. It's all the little thing together as a whole I think really do make a difference."

When pressured by reporters to give a few more details, he said, "It's going to be a very very dramatic show, and it's something I'm looking forward to doing and I haven't seen this before so it's good."

Cowell also showed love for returning judge Demi Lovato as well as the two new judges Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio. He says working with this panel has been "challenging but it's fun."

Lovato also explained what will be different this year, focusing on the only male judge.

"I feel like this year around, and it may be it's because he's feeding off of the girl power over here, there's like great energy, and I feel like there's been a change in Simon for the better," she said. "I feel like it's been more fun and it's been more relaxed. I see him smiling and giggling more often."

She also called him "more wise and more mature."

As for who he hopes will win X Factor's season 3, Cowell had a few words.

"It'll be nice to have something different than what we've had before, but you'll know it when that person or that group is in front of you," he said.
