DeMario Jackson might have made amends with Corrine Olympios after she accused him of sexual assault – but it’s safe to say his mother has yet to do so.

“I feel like [Corinne] wants publicity,” Jackson’s mother, Pinky Oliver, said during an interview with Life & Style Thursday. “To me, it’s like moth to a flame. She sees DeMario, and she’s like, ‘Oh, I’ll go that way.’”

Intersetingly enough, Olympios’ allegations put a halt on the filming of ABC’s Bachelor in Paradise so the network and authorities could investigate. When both of their legal teams took a look at the tape of what actually happened, they decided there was no foul play. Still, the network asked Jackson back and he declined. Word is Olympios was not asked to return to the show. Still, despite the drama the two have been seen hanging out together. If you ask Oliver, she’s not here for it.

“As far as he and Corinne ever having anything romantic, definitely never.”

When it comes to them being spotted getting close at Disney Land, she said they simply “run in the same circle,” and that, “they’re just good friends.”

We first met Jackson on the latest season of The Bachelorette as he vied for the love and affection of Rachel Lindsay. He was booted from the show after a woman confronted Lindsay claiming to be Jackson’s girlfriend. Next thing fans knew, he was on Bachelor in Paradise.
