Amber Heard Wanted To Show THIS Bogus ‘Bloody Lip’ Photo – But Judge Rejected It
Amber Heard lost in one part of the defamation trial after a judge rejected alleged photo evidence - which Johnny Depp's team called a bogus.
During Heard's testimony, she spoke about Depp purportedly backhanded her in one of their fights. She alleged that Depp's rings made the injury worse as it felt like her lip went into her teeth.
The "Aquaman" actress then claimed that she took a photo of it.
The image in question, which was obtained by a news outlet, shows her bloody lip as she holds a Post-It note that reads, "I shall return... XXX." She said that the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star left it after the incident.
However, the judge turned down the request to include the photo as evidence after Depp's legal team objected. According to the judge, the aforesaid photo had not been part of the discovery phase in the ongoing defamation case. Thus, it is no longer eligible to be introduced.
Depp's team said that Heard has been changing the story very conveniently.
Meanwhile, the actress's legal team has also reacted to the rejection already, saying: "The panicked Depp's team is fighting tooth and nail to prevent compelling evidence and photos such as this from being introduced. They continue their losing strategy: distract the jury and demonize the defendant."
Amber Heard Presenting Inconsistencies in Her Testimony?
The same photo jeopardizes Heard as it proves that she has inconsistencies in her recent statements related to the defamation trial.
It has been confirmed that the image was taken in 2012. But a witness for the actress during the UK libel case said that the first violent incident in which the actor attacked her happened in 2013.
Meanwhile, their therapist's records of alleged abuse of Depp to Heard started in 2012.

For what it's worth, they made their relationship official during the same year when they met on the set of "The Rum Diary." In June 2012, the actor and Vanessa Paradis announced their split.
Fans also believe that Heard caused the lip injury herself as she has been picking her lips most of the time during the defamation trial. She showed similar behavior in her past photos long before she met Depp.
