People believe Amber Heard - but for a different reason.

Before and after Heard and Johnny Depp's legal battles started, their fans created hashtags online to show their support for each of them.

For instance, Depp's supporters have #JusticeForJohnnyDepp, #JohnnyDeppDeservesJustice, and #AmberHeardIsaLiar.

Meanwhile, the "Aquaman" star's supporters launched #JusticeForAmberHeard, #IStandWithAmberHeard, and #IBelieveAmberHeard.

However, Depp's supporters managed to conquer the latter hashtag and changed its feed.

#IBelieveAmberHeard Twisted

On Twitter, the hashtag #IBelieveAmberHeard trended worldwide. While it might signal that Heard savored victory and earned people's trust again, a different thing happened as Depp's fans used it to condemn her instead.

One said, "#IBelieveAmberHeard is an abuser. I listened to the audio tapes, sounded exactly like my ex-abuser in every way. I could never look my abuser in the eyes, still can't, but she stared down Johnny Depp the whole time. #AmberHeard."

Fans of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star let out their rage after experts sided with Heard and said they believed she might not have been lying during the defamation trial.

Amber Heard NOT Lying, Per Trauma Experts

Insider shared statements from trauma experts who said people should not rely on how a witness emotes during the testimony to test their credibility.

Clinical psychologist at the Bellevue Hospital Program for Survivors of Torture Kate Porterfield told the news outlet that some survivors can instantly flip their emotions since their bodies try to calm themselves.

"All of this is difficult for juries to understand because it seems counterintuitive that a person could look flat or maybe even bored, or that a person would have difficulty remembering details of something horrific that she suffered," the trauma expert said.

This seemingly targeted the statement made by an unnamed male juror who told "Good Morning America" that Depp looked more genuine on the stand.

Per the jury's member, Heard made them feel nothing but uncomfortable throughout the trial.

Depp's supporters have long noted how Heard could yell and cry but produce no tears at all. One even claimed that she has an antisocial personality disorder, a mental health disorder in which a person shows no regard for right and wrong.

The actor's lawyer, Camille Vasquez, also pointed out that Heard showed the performance of her life instead.
