Ben Affleck Allegedly 'Furious' At Jennifer Lopez For Pushing Him To Get Fillers After Netizens Roast His Appearance: Report

Ben Affleck allegedly blamed his wife, Jennifer Lopez, for the recent criticisms he received for his new appearance, according to an insider.

The "Batman" actor was roasted after he took the stage for "The Roast of Tom Brady" on Sunday. Several netizens said he looked unrecognizable and the sight sparked plastic surgery rumors.

Following the report, an unnamed source told InTouch that Affleck was "upset" with Lopez for allegedly influencing him to get injectable fillers.

"Ben's comedy roast of Tom Brady seems to have backfired," the source said on Tuesday.

"He was coming for the public's negative social media comments towards Tom but ended up igniting a firestorm about his own appearance. He's furious because he's getting slammed for fillers and Botox that Jen pushed him to get."

Affleck is putting the blame on Lopez as he had no plans to get fillers before she prodded him to do so, according to the source.

"Ben's upset with Jen because if it wasn't for her, he would never get work done, but she's convinced him that everybody in Hollywood does a little facial maintenance, including his good friends, like Matt Damon," the source continued. 

However, Affleck reportedly "takes responsibility for agreeing to certain procedures." But the source added that the celebrity dad of three has no more intentions of getting fillers again because "he wants to age gracefully." Unfortunately, the "Marry Me" actress reportedly "doesn't agree" with him.

"She says he looks great, but that's where they're at," the insider continued.

On Sunday, several netizens took to X, formerly Twitter, to poke fun at Affleck's appearance when they saw him on Netflix's live performance hosted by Kevin Hart. One jokingly said that he was "hard launching a new face at Tom Brady roast tonight."

"Ben Affleck debuting a new melty looking face at the #RoastOfTomBrady," another wrote. Another opined, "Ben Affleck is on stage fresh from a facelift."

Lopez and Affleck have been married for nearly two years and there have been various speculations about their marriage. Another unnamed insider previously told Life & Style that the couple had to make adjustments in their behaviors if they wanted to stay married to each other amid their long-distance relationship. 

Affleck is currently in Los Angeles to film the "Accountant 2", while Lopez is in New York City to pursue her career. Lopez allegedly wanted "constant affirmation" while Affleck had grown "defensive and moody."

"The honeymoon is definitely over. The feeling is if they want to stay married, they both need to make some adjustments in their behavior," the source claimed.
